Portable Fire Extinguisher Tech/Apprentice Fire Suppression System Tech
GRIM Fire Protection is seeking an experienced fire extinguisher technician who is interested in learning to install and service pre-engineered fire suppression systems. GRIM would provide training in wet chemical fire systems for commercial kitchens and dry chemical industrial systems.
Required:
1 Year experience in inspection, recharge and installation of portable fire extinguishers
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Good general skills with tools
Passionate about increasing skill-set and having a lifelong career in fire protection
Able to take direction and follow instructions
Clean driving record
The following would be a plus:
Some experience with fire systems
Experience with Emergency Lighting testing
Sales Experience
A willingness to perform sales during down times
Owning your own tools and service vehicle
Senior Pre-Engineered Fire System/Portable Extinguisher Technician
GRIM Fire Protection is seeking experienced personnel trained in installation and service of kitchen/industrial fire suppresion systems and portable fire extinguishers. Ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience and hold a current EE licence with the CA State Fire Marshal as well as be factory certified in one or more pre-engineered fire system(s).
One should be very knowledgeable in:

Ansul R102
Buckeye Kitchen Mister
Pyro Chem Kitchen Knight
CA Title 19 Regulations for the service of portable fire extinguishers
In addition to technical knowledge and skill, the candidate must be self reliant, good at problem solving, be great with customers & have a passion for fire protection.
